Privacy notice

Podcast KPI Reporting is a Crisp internal reporting utility. This notice describes the utility’s intended data practices for administrators who authorize Google account access.

Google data accessed

How the utility uses the data

The utility uses this data to select podcast content, separate advertising views, calculate internal podcast and social engagement performance figures, and update the configured Google Sheet. It requests read-only YouTube and non-monetary Analytics permissions. The Google Sheets permission is broader than one cell; the collector’s code restricts dashboard writes to its configured monthly KPI cells and their explanatory notes and does not create or delete spreadsheets.

Storage and sharing

Credentials are kept in private local configuration on the administrator’s or Crisp-managed computer. Video identifiers, dated aggregate reporting evidence and KPI snapshots are retained locally for continuity and reconciliation. Report email bodies and signed download links are processed in memory, not retained by routine collection. Dated snapshots retain the source message identifier and extracted totals. Commissioning samples may be retained privately during validation and removed by an administrator. Calculated KPI values are written to the configured internal Google Sheet and are visible to that Sheet’s authorized viewers.

Authorized company administrators may use the resulting reports in Crisp’s internal reporting workflows. Access to those reports follows the permissions and policies of the company tools used for that workflow. This informational site does not display the private reporting data.

Limited use

The utility uses Google data for the internal reporting functions described here. It does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising targeting. Its use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and removal

Local reporting history remains available until an authorized administrator removes it; the current utility has no automatic retention expiry. To stop future Google access, revoke the connection in your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking access does not automatically delete existing local files or values already stored in the internal dashboard. Contact mcmullan@crisp.co to request removal or ask about a stored report.
